Mr. Ronald Ruin serves as the Head of Recovery and Legal at Papua Finance Limited, bringing a wealth of legal expertise to our team. He earned his Bachelors of Law (LLB) degree from the University of Papua New Guinea in 2017 and was admitted to the bar in 2019.
Before his professional career began, Mr. Ruin dedicated himself to providing pro bono legal aid services to the community, ensuring access to quality legal assistance. His work spanned from 2017 to 2019, focusing on debt recovery, family matters, and legal advisory services.
Following his admission to the bar in 2019, Mr. Ruin joined Mel and Henry Lawyers, where he specialized in commercial litigation, conveyancing, contract and agreement drafting, and compliance. His valuable experience in these areas continued until mid-2022.
In late 2022, Mr. Ruin contributed his legal acumen as a Consultant at Noel Kera Legals before assuming his current role as the Head of Recovery and Legal at Papua Finance Limited in December 2022. With a strong foundation in civil and commercial litigation, conveyancing, contract drafting, and a deep understanding of Papua New Guinea’s laws and legislations, Mr. Ruin is a significant asset to our organization.
