Mr. Chris Magaya, originally from Hela Province in PNG and now residing in POM, is a Certified Practicing Accountant. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with a focus on accountancy and a Diploma in Commerce, both from the University of Technology in PNG.
His career journey began in the early 1990s, starting as a graduate auditor and later ascending to the role of Senior Auditor with Nades and Associates. From 1998 to 2002, Mr. Magaya served as the Finance Manager with the Copra Marketing Board of PNG. In 2022, he transitioned to Kokonas Indastri Kopresen, where he currently holds the position of General Manager for Corporate Affairs.
With a wealth of experience spanning the industrial, marketing, and finance sectors in PNG, Mr. Magaya has been a valuable member of the Papua Finance Limited board since 2019.
