Mr. Roland Vara, our esteemed IT Supervisor, is a highly skilled professional with a Diploma in Computer Technology from Don Bosco Technical Institute, obtained in 2010. He possesses a robust background in System, Network, and Server Administration, augmented by ongoing professional development, including online scholarship courses in POST-QUATUM CRYPTOGRAPHY with Monash University/Australia’s Oceania Cybersecurity Centre (OCSC). Mr. Vara holds Certificates of Completion in Emerging Threats & Zero Trust Architecture, Intro to SPIFFE & SPIRE, Emerging Introduction to SASE, Cloud Computing, and Server and Cisco Networking.

Known for his exceptional problem-solving abilities, Mr. Vara consistently delivers innovative solutions. His impressive track record includes previous employment with Papua Finance Limited as an IT Support Officer from 2013 to 2020. In 2023, he rejoined PFL as an IT Supervisor. With his dedication and technical expertise, Mr. Vara plays a pivotal role in driving the ongoing success of our IT department. He is a valuable asset to our team, contributing significantly to our organization’s technological advancements and operational efficiency.
