Mr. Sreekumar Vamadevan is a distinguished professional with a profound academic and career background. He holds an MBA in Banking & Finance from the prestigious University of Wales in the UK and a professional Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from the Kerala Agricultural University in India.

His journey commenced in 1994 as a Probationary Assistant Manager with Canara Bank. During his tenure, he rose through the ranks and eventually held the position of Head of Management Information, Planning & Development, and Profit Planning Section. In 2008, he ventured into new horizons, assuming the role of Head of Region and Operations at Exim Bank (Tanzania) Ltd. In this capacity, he oversaw administrative, business, and operational control over the entire up-country branches of the bank.

Post his tenure at Exim Bank in late 2013, Mr. Vamadevan took on the role of Director of Finance & CFO at a prominent eye care healthcare company in Kerala. Subsequently, he served as the Chief Operations Officer with Azizi Bank in Afghanistan. Just prior to joining Papua Finance, he held the esteemed position of Executive Director at ABC Capital Bank in Uganda.

Mr. Vamadevan’s extensive and diverse exposure spans across various facets, including Corporate Governance, Organizational Planning, Banking Operations, Credit, Budgeting, Retail and Corporate Banking, Executive Leadership, Policy Formulation, and Human Resource Practices.
