Carolina Walu is a legal professional serving as Assistant Manager – Legal & Recovery at Papua Finance Limited (PFL), where she supports the organisation’s legal, recovery, and risk management functions.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG), completed in 2023, and joined PFL in September 2024. Since joining the organisation, Carolina has gained practical experience across legal and financial services, with particular exposure to debt recovery, litigation, legal compliance, credit recovery, and the management of non-performing loan portfolios.

In her current role, Carolina provides leadership and oversight to the Legal & Recovery function, working closely with Senior Management and other business units to manage legal matters, strengthen recovery strategies, support the resolution of delinquent accounts, and contribute to effective risk management across the organisation.

Carolina continues to build her professional expertise in banking and finance, debt recovery, litigation, corporate governance, and financial services. She is committed to continuous professional development and to supporting PFL in strengthening its legal and recovery capabilities while contributing to the organisation’s long-term growth and sustainability.
